Snow guaranteed from the end of November until the beginning of April

The snow-making facility with storage reservoir was newly installed in summer 2004 and is currently being expanded. Meanwhile there are a total of 146 snow guns in use. Experience has shown us that only 3 days of snow-making are necessary to create perfect ski-run conditions from the mountain down into the valley.

Visitors and many world cup teams (such as the Austrian national ski team ÖSV and the Swedish national team) have meanwhile confirmed to us that we are one of the most reliable snow areas in Europe. So if Mother Nature decides to take a longer break from snowing we simply need the temperature to be one degree below zero and the spectacle can begin.

In total around 90 % of the runs can be covered with artificial snow. However, the Ski & Leisure Arena team are not resting on their laurels, but are already looking at new technologies and ways to further optimise the snow-making.

Snow is therefore fully guaranteed from the end of November until the beginning of April.
