From 25.12.2025 to 06.04.2026 there is loving care for our little guests from Sunday to Friday – during the Christmas and carnival vacations even on Saturdays.

New: In the low season (11.01. – 01.02.2026 and 01.03. – 28.03.2026), childcare is only open if booked by the day before.

Childcare at Bärenland – a welcome break

A long day of skiing can be exhausting for children. From putting on the ski equipment to the first runs down the slopes, the winter adventure demands full concentration and energy. This is where Bärenland comes into play: a lovingly designed retreat that gives little skiers a break and gives parents the freedom to continue conquering the slopes.

The Bärennest looks after children aged 3 to 12 from Monday to Friday and on Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00. The childcare staff put a lot of heart and soul into making sure that the little ones feel at home.

Play, fun and security without technology

Analog fun takes center stage in the Bärennest. There are no screens here, just books, craft materials, building blocks and role-playing opportunities. Frederike, who is affectionately known as “Bear’s Nest Grandma”, makes children’s eyes light up with stories, songs and creative games. Particularly popular is crafting with paper, cardboard or beads, which not only stimulates the imagination but also promotes motor skills.

“Children don’t need a Gameboy to be happy,” says Frederike with conviction. Instead, they cuddle up in the reading corner, sing together or play role-playing games. Even language barriers quickly dissolve here – children always find ways to communicate with each other.

Small, fine and familiar

With a manageable group size of eight to 25 children, depending on the season, the Bärennest team can concentrate on the individual needs of the little guests. In the low season, children and caregivers enjoy particularly intensive and cozy hours.

Relaxation for the whole family

While the children are well looked after in the Bärennest, parents can enjoy their turns on the varied slopes of the Bergeralm. Childcare in the panorama restaurant offers the perfect balance between family time and personal time out.
